Trilingual English, French and Spanish, she is a true European, and an activist: involved in ACTION CONTRE LA FAIM created in 1979 (from Sep 2013 in the field of Poverty Alleviation)

TRAINING

After a masters degree in International Economics (with a minor in Financial markets, energy and raw materials), she pursued a PhD dealing with “Economic determinants of military spending” (focussing on US and Nato during the Cold war and after) at the University of Grenoble, France. She also studied in Barcelona (Spain) 1991-92 and Montpellier (France). 

She had also collaborated with the “Study of Transition and Development” at Grenoble and with the “Institute For the Economy in Transition” (Moscow) on the mission of establishing a development agency in Kaliningrad within the framework of the European projects TACIS.

EXPERIENCE

At IRIS, her work focused on Defence Economics, Arms Industry, Export Control and Corruption issues. She has conducted studies for the French Ministry of Defence and Foreign Affairs, the EU Commission, the Defence Agency and the Parliament, as well as for Strategy and Defence companies (2001-2023) Senior Research Associate

In 2003, she co-created the Master’s degree in “Geo-economy and Strategic Intelligence”, which has trained an average of 30 students each year since.

She was also an associate professor and head of the department of Finance, Economics and Law at the “Léonard de Vinci Business School” (La Défence – Paris) 2009-2016
