European transformation catalyst, feminine leadership & burnout coach, and mentor of aspiring politicians. As co-president of Volt Slovakia, the Slovak chapter of pan-European political movement Volt, Lucia is personally committed to bring a new culture of gender-equal leadership to European politics. Previously, Lucia served as a European Commission official driving policies ranging from e-procurement through Brexit negotiations to equality mainstreaming as a member of the Equality Task Force of Commissioner Helena Dalli.

After her maternity break, she took an unpaid sabbatical from the European institutions to pursue her path of an independent speaker coach and mentor of other women seeking life on their own terms. As an alumna of the London School of Economics, University of Economics in Bratislava, Solvay Business School and Kingstown College, she often speaks at career days or leadership bootcamps supporting political activists in designing their authentic impact paths.

Recently Lucia shared on her social media that her wildest dream is to hear her daughter Gloria share one day how inspired she is by all of us (and her mom) pulling this off in such challenging times – re-defining the role models for all women growing up with stories of who they can(not) become. Zuzana STEVULOVA, Director of the Human Rights League (HRL) – Slovakia’s premier NGO providing legal and other assistance to foreigners –attorney she has emerged as the country’s most prominent advocate for refugee and migrant rights. In a country where the majority of asylum applications are rejected, she has won numerous cases at Slovakia’s Supreme Court on behalf of clients in expulsion and asylum proceedings. Since the start of Europe’s migration crisis, Ms. Stevulova has been a strong and unwavering voice for greater assistance to and compassion for refugees. She has not shied away from criticizing the anti-refugee and anti-Muslim rhetoric of certain politicians and regularly challenges social prejudice and fear by introducing Slovak citizens to refugees who have successfully integrated into Slovak society (award WOMEN of COURAGE)
