TRAINING

She has a qualification in Biology (MSc Bed). Born in Mysore (the old capital of Karnataka), she entered a religious congregation at 16.

In 2019: Manager in charge of 1000 students

In charge of a small community of 12 sisters in TUMKUR, she is part of a team in a large secondary school created in 1954. Her congregation is “Salesian Missionaries of Mary Immaculate” (very dynamic with more than 500 members only in India).

She spent 10 months in Europe: 9 months in Rome to study more about her congregation (in English) and one month in France, where she learnt some french.

She has some strategies to improve the quality of education in children.

She loves languages and she is now “brushing up” her french.

In a near future, she wants to do a MASTER in social work.

COMMITMENT

Her main concern is education of young girls : “nurture every girl child”. She wants to help children and women “to bloom in their potential”

HIGH TECH, High TOUCH

Travelling always with her laptop, she now maintains a blog for her “project TUMKUR 2019” and would travel in her city on a scooter (she loves driving!)

HOBBIES

She loves music and has a lot of nice parts on her mobile phone. She knows a little bit of “keyboard and guitar“. Reading and writing articles are some of her best activities as well.

I met her through a website in Bangalore, I was looking for a place to teach and have a room, out of the 20 persons to whom I wrote, at the beginning of december 2018, she was the only one to answer, and quickly. Oceania: 49 members, 10 communities, 4 countries.
